Welcome to our Parents Association Page

 

All the parents/guardians in our school are part of the Parents Association. Every year a committee of parents is elected to represent the whole parent body. The P.A. committee works with the principal, staff and the Board of Management to build effective partnership between home and school to provide the best educational experience for the pupils in Bandonbridge N.S.

The work of the Parents Association:

 

• To represent the views of the parents

• Organise fund raising and social events to support the school and foster an inclusive school community

• To inform parents of the developments in Irish education and in school management

• To foster co-operation between parents, teachers and management

• To provide opportunities for parents to meet and exchange ideas

• To provide education for parents as required

• To help with the provision of extra equipment and teaching aids.
