Clay Works from First Class
Recently, First Class enjoyed making clay pots and clay monsters with Ms. Willis. Children had the opportunity to experiment with clay and develop form in clay.
Initially, children were allowed to explore and discover the possibilities of clay as a medium for imaginative expression. They did so in the following ways: squeezing, pinching, pulling, squashing, prodding, rolling and finally tearing pieces from the clay and putting them together again.
Clay lessons went on over duration of 3 weeks and were enjoyed thoroughly by all the children. Have a look at some of our creations below!
