Student Council

The Student Council is led by Ms. Jennings and has representatives from 3rd - 6th class. The new SU is elected annually and meets at least once each month to discuss student concerns: school attendance, student relationships, inclusive practice etc. 

In 2025, the SU devised the Bí Cineálta Student-Friendly Policy. They created a slideshow and visited each classroom to show the slides and talk about the new policy. Each class took some time to work with their teachers on kindness and sharing at an age-appropriate level. Each room worked on drawings, positive messaging and posters which were displayed around the school. When the SU had viewed the posters, the best bits were selected to create the Bí Cineálta Student-Friendly Policy which is now on display in every classroom.

The SU coordinates the Team Hope annual Christmas Shoebox appeal. They circulate information and gather the boxes as they arrive.
