Cork School Sports

Competitors had a great day at the Cork School Sports on Thursday 29th May despite the drizzly start to the day. Ms. Langford and Ms O'Sullivan were there to cheer the boys' team on; Ms Jennings and Mr Ryan took charge of the girls' team. Everyone tried really hard and ran their fastest. Congratulation to Hannah from 1st class for coming 1st in her sprint; also Finn from 2nd class came 3rd; Jairus from 6th came 2nd in his sprint with classmate, Benoit, coming 1st and going throught to the County Final where he was 2nd. Over 11 boys and girls were successful in their relay races; both came 3rd. The Under 11 boys came 3rd in their relay race too. Wrll done to everyone. Special thank you to Ms Buttimer who was stewarding at the Sports from 8am until the conclusion of the event.
