5th Class: Concern Debating

Our 5th class pupils are developing their debating skills through the Concern Primary Debates!

In class, we work together to explore different viewpoints, share ideas and debate motions as a group. Pupils learn to research a topic, think critically, build convincing arguments, listen to others and develop their public speaking skills. Everyone has an opportunity to contribute, ask questions and challenge ideas in a supportive classroom environment.

Our first debate will be with Scoil Eoin, Innishannon, Co. Cork, on the motion: “Public Transport Should Be Free for All.”

We look forward to putting our research, teamwork and debating skills into practice as we share ideas and learn from one another!
