Local Clubs Day at Bandonbridge NS

Bandonbridge NS was buzzing with excitement for our Local Clubs Day, organised by Ms Coghlan and the Well-Being Committee!

We were delighted to welcome coaches from our local community who visited the school to give our pupils taster sessions in a range of activities offered by local clubs. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to try something new, develop new skills and discover activities they might like to pursue outside of school. We tried out GAA, Rugby, Hockey, Gymnastics, Jujitsu, tennis and met the Brownie leaders.

Our pupils also enjoyed sharing information about the different clubs they are involved in, giving their classmates an insight into the many opportunities available in our local area.

Local Clubs Day was a wonderful way to strengthen our links with the local community and celebrate the wide variety of clubs and activities available to our pupils.

We are very grateful to all the coaches and club representatives who gave their time and enthusiasm to make the day such a success.
